Profile:

I was born in Belarus in September 1974; in 1993 I immigrated to the UK. Having a strong interest and passion for photography since I was twelve, film and video has always attracted me too, from both artistic and technical points of view. In 1998 I started working in the media industry as cameraman assistant. During this period I learnt a lot; not only the technical aspects of what is expected of a cameraman but also the techniques of shooting, lighting, sound, directing and editing. Soon after, I bought my own equipment and started to work on various projects, primarily as freelance Cameraman/DOP but also, on many occasions, as producer, director and editor.

For the past ten years working within the broadcast, private sector and corporate industries,
I feel I have gained a reputation for being creative, professional and reliable. Most of my work recently has been in the corporate sector. I have worked as cameraman on a huge number of corporate productions, both as a freelancer and on contract through other production companies.
Clients I have filmed recently include: Adidas, Boots, BT, Camelot, Chivas Brothers, City Post, Glaxo Smith Kline, Kuoni, Orange, Procter & Gamble, Lothian & Border Police, Lloyds TSB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Royal Mail, Rolls-Royce, Royal College of Midwives, Systema, Shell, Snowdrop Systems, amongst others.

My photographic background gives me a keen eye for the documentary genre, and a high level of attention to detail. I have experience filming in numerous countries including Ghana, Mexico, Italy, Vietnam, China, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Belarus and Russia, as well as throughout the UK. Some of my work has been broadcast on BBC, SKY, C4, MTV, NTV and ASTRA Satellite TV, as well as being screened at places like ICA, BFI, and CURZON cinemas & various film festivals.
